At NASB 2025, our Service Outlook presentation highlighted Artificial Intelligence (AI) – what it is and how it could be applied to the service business. With few OEMs actually using AI at the time, we felt this topic was better as part of our general presentation, rather than a breakout session where OEMs can share their own stories. For 2026, we hope more OEMs are using AI. We’re looking for actual, tactical use cases of AI that OEMs have employed today in their service operations. This may be projects launched and managed within the OEM, or through vendors. Pilot programs will be accepted, but exploratory initiatives with no implementation will not. If we don’t have enough OEM case studies, we may choose to supplement with outside industry examples.
