DMS Integrations & Endorsements (Heavy Equipment)
Description

DMS (often referred to as “DBS”) integration is a topic that inevitably comes up within discussions at NASB, as the data OEMs can get out of these systems is incredibly useful for managing the service business. The automotive industry went down this path many years ago, working with dealers and a few key DMS providers to establish integrations and gain access to RO data. The story is a bit more complicated on the HE side, with the DMS provider landscape much more varied and OEMs having limited (or no) access to RO data today. In this session, we will benchmark which DMS providers OEMs endorse today, the % of dealers each provider covers, and what push/pull integrations OEMs have with each today. The goal is to better understand where each OEM stands with DMS integration, and to discuss a path forward and next steps to gaining better data access – a critical component for building out better service metrics for NASB HE in the future.
